Beautiful aesthetics, but a painful sizing disaste
"I bought these Aquila shoes for $250, and they have been a massive disappointment. While the shoes look fantastic from the outside, they are incredibly painful to wear in practical terms. The biggest issue is the inconsistent sizing. I am a solid US size 10. However, the store assistant informed me that Aquila has shifted their sizing: their size 10 now fits like a 10. 5, and their 9. 5 fits like a 9. I purchased the 9. 5 hoping for a true 10, but they are extremely narrow and poorly designed internally. They cut into my feet like razor blades, nearly causing them to bleed. If I go up to the size 10, my foot slips out unless I wear thick socks. Mine are now sitting completely useless in my shoe cabinet—an absolute waste of money. Unless you have very narrow feet or happen to perfectly match their newly manipulated sizes, I highly recommend bypassing these shoes."
